I really, really, REALLY adore having a three year old. This was the first year that my daughter truly got into Halloween and it was such a, ahem, treat to see.
Here's my little bee in the window earlier in the week. She had to try on her costume ahead of time, you see, and parade around for her loyal subjects:

Then on Wednesday it was off to school to celebrate, for the first time, with classmates! Here she is waiting for her turn to explain her costume:
Finally, the maiden Trick or Treat voyage. After 5 houses we were done and she was triumphant. "Look at all this stuff, Mommy!" I didn't think that we'd go trick or treating (don't see too many of them near me) but then a friend invited us to her neighborhood. Hence the lack of a proper jack o'lantern bucket--like the turquoise handbag with bamboo handles? It's the latest thing. : P
